Reference 2.0 is the new universal transcoding application that combines almost all available MainConcept codecs in a single software. Due to its many ready-to-use presets and multi-purpose advanced encoder settings, MainConcept Reference enables you to convert videos into numerous formats, so it can be used almost in all professional market segments, ranging from content creation for many important devices and occasions to the broadcast industry.

MainConcept Reference 2.0 it combines speed and quality with professional features. It offers high-level features such as watch folder and batch list encoding. The powerful command-line interface allows preset based transcoding jobs in an easy way. Additionally, it includes a versatile capture engine that allows you to capture from camcorders, webcams, etc. in their native or another format if available.

The master application of MainConcept Reference 2.0 comes for free and includes all codecs in demo mode (indicated by a watermark symbol in rendered video and audio limitation for certain codecs). The module based approach of MainConcept Reference 2.0 lets the user decide which codec suits his demands. If the customer finds the desired codec, he only unlocks this specific codec Plug-In and the rest remains in demo mode. Still not convinced?

How to get a full codec version?

To purchase a MainConcept Reference 2.0 Codec as full version Plug-In and to receive a link to activate, click one of the Codecs listed above for further details.

After the installation all media data created with the purchased codec Plug-In will be rendered without any watermark. All other codecs remain available in demo mode.

Note: The MainConcept Reference 2.0 base application is required to install and use your purchased codec Plug-Ins.
