We're proud to announce that the MainConcept HEVC SDK Beta with HDR support is now available for evaluation. The beta adds HDR signaling to the video Codec as well as some other features listed below.

Encoder HDR Features:

• SMPTE 2084 transfer characteristic
• SMPTE 2086 Mastering Display characteristic
• MaxFALL / MaxCLL

Decoder Features:

• Low Delay Mode
• Additional speedup & lower memory consumption
• Retrieval of HDR characteristics is available through the decoder API
