MainConcept strives to provide the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost. To ensure that our development teams are delivering the most innovative and cost-effective products to our partners and customers, MainConcept may periodically decide to discontinue specific products or product packages. MainConcept will honor its contractual obligation associated to active service level agreements or extended maintenance agreements irrespective of the discontinuation.

Current list of discontinued product:

• MainConcept MPEG Elements: Sold since 2005, the dedicated MPEG Plug-In for Adobe® Premiere® Elements was discontinued end of April 2008. Customers that have bought the product will receive further support up until December 2008.
• MPEG Encoder Mac 1.5: The MainConcept MPEG Encoder Mac was a standalone QuickTime to MPEG converter featuring the technology that's used in the renowned Windows version of MainConcept’s MPEG Encoder and in many video editing and DVD authoring applications. As the general Encoder line of products was replaced by MainConcept Reference, MainConcept has discontinued the MPEG Encoder Mac in July 2008 with it’s release of version 1.5 of MainConcept Reference – now available for Mac OSX (on Intel) as well. Customers that have bought the product will receive further support up until July 2009.
  
  Upgrade: Existing customers of MPEG Encoder Mac 1.5 may use the available upgrade pricing option to the MPEG-1/2 Plug-In of MainConcept Reference. Click here for further details.
