Plug-In for MainConcept Reference

With the release of MainConcept Reference 1.6.1, the product employs a new unlocking mechanism that turns the demo version of a specific codec (e.g. H.264/AVC, JPEG2000, VC-1 Pro etc.) within the base application into a full license one. You need to enter your personal serial number for the desired codec Plug-In in the MainConcept Reference application during runtime. Compared to former versions of the product it is not necessary to download extra software for the full license Plug-In.

Repeat the following steps, in order to update from MainConcept Reference 1.5.x or 1.6.0 to version 1.6.1:

1. If you have any full license Plug-Ins for 1.5.x or 1.6.0 installed, please uninstall them by using the Control Panel (Windows) or by moving the MainConcept Reference application to trash (Mac OSX) respectively.
2. Under Windows, uninstall the MainConcept Reference base application.
3. Download MainConcept Reference 1.6.1 from the MainConcept website and install it.
4. After successful installation, start the base application.
5. In the main window of MainConcept Reference go to Help > Register in the menu bar.
6. In the Register dialog you can now enter the personal serial number. Use the number you have from your 1.5.x or 1.6.0 Plug-In order. New customers will receive the personal serial number with their purchase order by e-mail.
7. Restart the application and enjoy MainConcept Reference with the full license codec Plug-Ins!

Upon verification, you will receive ordering instructions via e-mail. The price for the upgrade will be $290 $220.40 (plus appl. tax).
