MainConcept DVCPRO HD is a full-featured DVCPRO 25/50/100 transcoding solution for MainConcept Reference. It enhances the encoder application by the capability to import and encode DV and DVCPRO 25/50/100.
With the installed codec, the software is fully compliant with the following standards: DV (IEC-61834), DVCPRO 25 and DVCPRO 50 (SMPTE 314M) as well as DVCPRO HD (SMPTE 370M). MainConcept DVCPRO 25/50 and DVCPRO HD allow you to export clips into the DIF format. It delivers considerably higher picture quality since it allows video data rates up to 100 Mb/s. The plug-in supports all major YUV and RGB color spaces, including YUV 4:2:2.
