The performance will depend on the PC's capabilities, and a free demo version is available to help users evaluate performance on their own systems. MainConcept MPEG Pro HD 4 can only be used with Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and CS4 (not included).

Versatile Camcorder Support

MPEG Pro HD 4 DVCPRO offers full support for Panasonic P2 DVCPRO camcorder format, including multichannel audio. It allows the import, editing, and export of such streams – including smart rendering – with Adobe Premiere Pro. Using MXF export, you will generate a P2 compliant folder structure (virtual P2 device) in which the A/V and meta-data get stored or add clips to an existing P2 folder. The Plug-In also includes the ability to capture from several JVC, Canon and Sony HD camcorders.

Availability

MainConcept MPEG Pro HD 4 DVCPRO is available for Microsoft Windows. It is designed to work on any PC which meets the Adobe Premiere Pro HD 4 minimum system requirements and can only be used when Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 or CS4 is installed (not included).
