MainConcept MPEG Pro HD 4 AVC-Intra is a full-featured AVC-Intra native editing solution for Adobe Premiere Pro. It is fully compliant with the following standards:

• AVC-Intra Class 50
• AVC-Intra Class 100

AVC Intra-frame coding makes use of the High 10 Intra profile (10-bit) at Class50 and High 4:2:2 Intra profile at Class100. The streams are fully compliant with ISO/IEC 14996-10 and ITU-T Rec. H.264. AVC-Intra Class100 achieves full raster 10-bit 4:2:2 quality, which meets the high-end production mastering requirement. AVC-Intra Class50 achieves equivalent quality as DVCPRO HD while needing only half of its bitrate. This significantly reduces storage and distribution costs for any broadcast and professional production environments. Due to its greater flexibility, the AVC-Intra design can optimize the workflows for the broadcast business.

The MPEG Pro HD 4 AVC-Intra Plug-In includes MXF (P2 compliant) as import and output formats. Moreover, it offers AVC-Intra smart rendering, in order to save lots of time while exporting your projects

The MPEG Pro HD 4 AVC-Intra Plug-In includes many ready-to-use project, sequence as well as export presets for various formats and devices, and is the perfect companion for professional broadcast environments, in order to optimize your editing workflow. Additionally, MPEG Pro HD 4 AVC-Intra turns MPEG-1/2 and H.264/AVC editing into a productive, high-quality workflow. It offers many HDV and HDTV project presets for high-definition video editing in its native format. Using the versatile plug-in, you have the opportunity to import as well as export videos in these formats, including presets for:

The performance will depend on the PC's capabilities, and a free demo version is available to help users evaluate performance on their own systems. MainConcept MPEG Pro HD 4 can only be used with Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and CS4 (not included).

Versatile Camcorder Support

MPEG Pro HD 4 AVC-Intra offers full support for Panasonic P2 AVC-Intra camcorder format, including specialized Operational Pattern "Atom" SMPTE 390M. It allows the import, editing, and export of such streams – including smart rendering – with Adobe Premiere Pro. The Plug-In also includes the ability to capture from several JVC, Canon and Sony HD camcorders.

Availability

MainConcept MPEG Pro HD 4 AVC-Intra is available for Microsoft Windows. It is designed to work on any PC which meets the Adobe Premiere Pro HD 4 minimum system requirements and can only be used when Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 or CS4 is installed (not included).
