Based on the renowned MainConcept Reference SDK, it not only checks file format, video and audio parameters but can also correct video levels and audio loudness that exceed given limits - not just 'legalisation' but Intelligent Automated Correction.
This Windows software application for testing file-based video and audio uses the MainConcept decoder and encoder components.
It is designed for professional broadcasters and content distributors, such as post production houses, media and commercials agencies, VoD and Cable service providers and broadcasters receiving file-based TV programs, shows, film, news, commercials, etc.

Reference SDK
The Reference SDK provides developers with the opportunity to easily add the MainConcept transcoding engine's functionalities to their own application design. Its components serve as the basis for the VidChecker system. VidCheck uses several of the MainConcept decoders for decoding video files for file content analysis, and encoders for re-encoding files after performing video and audio correction.
