Plug-In for Reference 2.2
The MPEG-4 Part 2 (ISO/IEC 14496-2) and H.263 (ITU-T Recommendation H.263) standard is widely used for encoding and streaming of video. The MainConcept MPEG-4 Part 2 codec plug-in for the MainConcept Reference 2 application offers superior quality encoding of MPEG-4 part 2/H.263. In terms of audio support, it includes AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) encoding and decoding.
It offers professional features such as watch folder and batch list encoding. Additionally, it includes a powerful capture engine* allowing video capture from camcorders, webcams, etc. in their native or another format if available.

It even includes several presets for the H.263 format that is also a renowned standard for common mobile devices.
*Capturing is only available in Reference for Windows.
Base Application required
The full license codec Plug-In provides unrestricted MPEG-4 Part 2/H.263 support. When purchasing the full license Plug-In, you will receive a serial number to unlock the appropriate codec in the free MainConcept Reference 2 base application. The base application must be installed on your system.
