The MainConcept Decoder Pack JPEG2000 for Windows® 32-bit & 64-bit platforms is a powerful set of DirectShow filters that enables you to playback JPEG2000 compliant streams in the Windows Media Player or similar media players that support DirectShow.

DCI (Digital Cinema Initiative) adopted JPEG2000 for video encoding of motion pictures and the MainConcept Decoder Pack allows you to play back these streams. Current movie distribution and presentation from movie rolls is expected to be replaced by digital projectors that will play high-res mj2 streams with superior image and sound quality. The package decodes JPEG2000 streams in highest quality using the renowned MainConcept audio, video and demuxer filters. The MainConcept Decoder Pack JPEG2000 supports HE AAC v1 and HE AAC v2 as audio formats.
