Converter & Scaler Package
Rovi's MainConcept Converter and Scaler Package was created in response to requests from many companies who wanted to speed up their video processing. The package includes various DirectShow filters for doing color conversion, image scaling, audio conversion and frame rate conversion.
Moreover, the Converter & Scaler Package contains the Low Level Image Scaler and Color Space Converter. These components offer functionalities which every video application needs: scaling, color conversion and alpha-blending. The unique thing is that all three operations are done in one high-speed step (so that the video memory only needs to be accessed once). The scaling, color conversion and alpha blending functions are hand optimized line by line and are based on our 10 years of experience in optimizing video code.

The Codec Package is available as 32-bit as well as 64-bit version for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
