This new 3D transcoding application will encode video into stereoscopic and multi-view 3D video streams for 3D Blu-ray Disc format as an extension of the H.264 encoding process.
3D has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity with a new wave of 3D major motion pictures and next generation televisions and Blu-ray Disc players capable of playing and displaying compelling 3D content. The MainConcept Reference 3D transcoding application for Windows 7 (32/64-bit), Windows Vista® (32/64-bit), and Windows XP® carries an MSRP of $3,900.00. However, it is currently available for special pre-release introductory price of $3,200.00, a $700 savings. Those customers who purchase the pre-release version will also get the full released version at no additional cost and will be automatically notified when the final release is available.
