Adobe Media Encoder MPEG Update to version 1.1
This installer updates the Adobe Media Encoder to include the latest versions of the MainConcept MPEG encoding files. This update is recommended for any user experiencing the following issues: “Adobe Premiere Pro failed to return a video frame. Canceling the operation.” Or an “Out of memory” error when using the Premiere Pro Export to DVD feature. This version includes an enhancement which fixes this MPEG encoding failure and error. |

Download the appropriate installer for your version of Premiere Pro from the links below.

If applicable to your version of Windows, make sure that you are logged on with Administrator privileges.

Run the file that you downloaded and follow the prompts.

Adobe Premiere 6.5-Style Preset Collection
Adobe Premiere 6.5 included the Adobe MPEG Encoder for exporting to MPEG-1 and MPEG-2. In Adobe Premiere Pro, these capabilities are incorporated into the new Adobe Media Encoder. The new encoder may seem to be slower than the Adobe MPEG Encoder, however this is not the case. The new default presets match those found in Adobe Encore DVD and emphasize quality over speed, whereas the old defaults offered an optimal blend of quality and speed. In addition, Adobe Premiere Pro includes the ability to perform two-pass MPEG encoding, which results in longer exporting time, but better quality at lower bitrates. This downloadable preset collection (containing .vpr files) is designed for users who want presets similar to those in Adobe Premiere 6.5. The settings are comparable to the Adobe MPEG Encoder presets in terms of file names, quality settings and bitrate settings. However, this new collection also includes 2 pass versions. Recommended for Adobe Premiere Pro. Version for Adobe Encore DVD coming soon. |
